What's new in Social Media in Northern Europe? Facebook? You mean Hyves, right? What, you're not on Hyves? How about Xing?

On November 2nd we host SMC Amsterdam and SMC Rotterdam for in-person networking, drinks, and chat about the differences in Social Media across the ocean.

We'll be warm by the red walls of Lily's bar at Roger Smith Hotel. Enjoy drinks and networking with your fellow SMC members from the Netherlands, the NYC area and prospective members. Of course, friends from other NYC groups are always welcome.

Lily's has provided us with drink specials and food.

Your $10 to SMC in advance gets you your first drink and food, and the rest is up to you. (Members get a discount.) $15 at the door.

We hope to see you there.

NOTE: This event may be recorded. By purchasing a ticket or attending, you agree to be captured via video, audio, and photo. All media will be released under a (CC)Attribute-Non-commercial-share-Alike license.

WALKINS WILL BE WELCOME ($15 at door)

Social Media Club is being organized for the purpose of sharing best practices, establishing ethics and standards, and promoting media literacy around the emerging area of Social Media. This is the beginning of a global conversation about building an organization and a community where the many diverse groups of people who care about social media can come together to discover, connect, share, and learn.
